http://www.rkrukowski.com/following/rkrukowski.com/Buckles-Project Fri, 21 May 2010 22:00:11 +0000 RK Design Portfolio 424414 Buckles Project In this challenge, I designed buckles for 1.5" webbing that had to both hold a weight of 250 pounds in water buckets without slipping... and be easily adjustable. The final prototypes were required to demonstrate ease of use in a timed trial where the instructor Greg Corrigan applied the weight after 4 different height adjustments. Thanks to the lever action my buckle design allowed, I was able to lower the weight quickly down the webbing without having to remove it to readjust.
